United Kingdom Institute of Innovation
The United Kingdom Institute of Innovation is a UK institution in London, accountable to its Council, Senate and academic community.
Governance at UKII follows the pattern of a British university: a governing Council for strategy and stewardship, a Senate for academic standards, and named officers responsible for day-to-day leadership. This structure exists so degrees remain rigorous, tuition-free, and recognisable as UK awards — whether a student studies online from Bahrain or in London.
The Council is the governing body. It approves strategy, finances and the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor, and holds the institution to its charitable and educational purposes.
Senate is the academic authority. It oversees curricula, assessment, research degrees, and the regulations that apply equally to online and campus programmes.
The Vice-Chancellor is the chief academic and executive officer, accountable to Council for the quality of teaching, research and student experience.
Faculty boards and an Academic Board advise Senate on programme approval, external examining, and continuous improvement against Ofqual and DEAC expectations.
All degree programmes are tuition-free (£0). The United Kingdom Institute of Innovation is in London, United Kingdom.
