Admissions
Degree study at UKII is in English. We accept IELTS, TOEFL and equivalent evidence — including prior English-medium degrees.
Typical postgraduate threshold is IELTS 5.5 (or TOEFL iBT 46) overall, with no skill far below that band. If your previous degree was taught in English, the requirement is often waived. This policy applies equally to applicants in Madagascar, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Kingdom.
All degree programmes remain tuition-free (£0). If you need a language test, you can sit our own English Placement Test online for $20 — marked instantly with a CEFR level and certificate — or use an accepted external provider such as IELTS or TOEFL. Neither is a UKII tuition charge.
UKII also runs a wider catalog of paid, self-serve exams and professional certificates, open to anyone — not just UKII applicants.
All degree programmes are tuition-free (£0). The United Kingdom Institute of Innovation is in London, United Kingdom.
